Do you want to buy your favourite lot on Bidpointer?
You can do this by registering for free, done fast and easy on the Bidpointer platform.
By clicking the Register button, you can register as a company or as a private individual. You fill in all the requested details and click Register.
You will then receive an SMS with a verification code, enter this code on your screen.
You will also receive a verification email containing a link, click the link in the email to complete your registration. Please note that this email may end up in your spam folder.
Did you complete all of this? Then you can log in to the Bidpointer online auction platform using your own e-mail address and password.
At Bidpointer, we do not charge a commission for the buyer. If you want to bid on lots, you must first have completed your complete registration, including your 'bidders' costs.
Have you completed the aforementioned steps? Then you can bid on all your favourite lots.
On the lot page you will find the lot information, the current bid and the remaining time of the auction. Below that, you can place your bid.
The minimum increase for a bid is indicated, but you can place a higher bid to increase your chance of winning.
The system works using 4 colours: green, orange, red and yellow. You will also hear a bell sound when placing a bid.
If the lot turns green, this indicates that you are the highest bidder.
If the lot turns orange, a bid is placed. In the last 20 seconds before the lot closes, the lot will flash orange, giving you the chance to place a bid.
If the lot is red, you have been outbid. If the colour is yellow, the lot has a minimum selling price. The lot will remain yellow as long as the minimum price has not been met. Are there no bids to turn the lot green and you were the last to place a bid? Then the seller may still award you the lot below its minimum price. You will then receive a notification about this.
After clicking the Place Bid button, a confirmation screen will appear containing the total price.
Check everything carefully before clicking Place your Bid. This is a binding action! If you win the auction, you are obliged to pay this amount!
You will also be informed by e-mail if you have placed an offer and if you have been outbid.
There are 2 options for bidding. The 1st option is to bid by click, you then bid the amount shown on the screen.
The 2nd option is to place an automatic bid or auto-bid. This means that you enter a preset maximum amount in the bidding system, whereby the system bids for you automatically up to your maximum amount. Your auto-bid is not visible to other bidders.
If your maximum amount is outbid by other bidders, you can raise your auto-bid again.
If you are the winning bidder of one or more lots, you can find this in the overview in My Account. There, under My Invoices, you can also find the purchase agreements that the system or the seller has sent. This is not yet the original sales invoice.
Both the buyer and the seller will also receive a confirmation email. Please note that this email may end up in your spam folder.
If there are any purchase agreements in your account, the selling party will provide email you the original sales invoice(s) as soon as possible. You must pay the amount directly to the seller. After payment, you clearly agree on a date, time and collection address to pick up the purchased lots. Please note that when picking up your lots, you must bring the correct documents with you.
